Arthur the Tripawd King

Our dear Arthur has been through the wars. Arthur is an approximately 2 year old brown tabby neutered male. He is a former outdoor cat who lost his front right leg after he seems to have been hit by a car. Once he came to our foster care, his foster realized his tail was also in bad shape, and it was amputated on January 21, leaving him with a rather adorable bobcat tail that never stops wagging.

He is recovering very well in foster and is very anxious to get to his forever home where he can explore and become the king of his own castle. Despite all of this, Arthur is a fun, affectionate guy who loves to be in the thick of things, exploring, checking on his humans to make sure he approves of their behavior, and then napping on the couch in the sunshine in the strangest possible contorted postures. He likes being close to his people and has a daily petting quota. He also loves water of all kind—sinks, baths, humidifiers, and even glasses of seltzer—he loves it!

His leg is fully healed now and his hair fully grown back in. And he doesn’t let it slow him down a bit!

Arthur would thrive in a home on his own or with 1 or 2 other cats. Arthur does not like dogs. Arthur is best with children ages 10+ and teens.

Arthur is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and ready for a new home!

Arthur’s approximate birthday is December 11, 2022.
