Hobbes

Hobbes is as chill as they come. He is a domestic shorthair ginger cat with fabulous vampire-like fangs. He is undeterred by other cats, dogs, vacuum cleaners, toddlers, or pretty much anything. He is a little Napoleon weighing only around 8-9 pounds and walks through life just as confidently. Hobbes is particularly gentle with very young kittens, acting like their surrogate dad.

Hobbes is an alpha male (hence the confidence) and will need access to the outdoors. He does not wander far, but his favorite thing to do is scope out his territory and sit in a nice sunny patch to nap. He was around 4 years old when he was neutered, so he can be perceived as a threat by other male cats. He came to us as a “failure to fit in” cat. The owners adored him, but as the new incoming cat he stressed out the other male cats in the household too much.

Hobbes would thrive in a home with female cats or young male kittens who will accept him as their “dad”. He is also fine with dogs and young children.

Hobbes is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and ready for a new home!

Hobbes’ approximate birthday is December 22, 2018.
