Phoenix Rising

Phoenix came to us as a half pound foster with most of his rear right leg badly damaged. It is not clear how long he lived with his injury, since he was estimated to be around 4 weeks old when we brought him home. His foster mom has done everything she can to avoid amputation, but his wound does require surgery. However, despite all of this, Phoenix is a fiery ball of fun, running and playing as if he has 4 functional legs, and charming the hearts of all who meet him. We suspect there will be multiple offers for Phoenix once he’s ready to go home (if his coordinating fosters can bear to let him go). If you can help him, please donate here. If you are interested in adopting Phoenix, please contact us here.
